Opened in November 2013, The Quin still feels fresh. In fact, it feels positively brand new, as though crafted and created purely for your enjoyment. Residing just a few strides from Central Park, the art focussed hotel plays host to a rotating selection of artwork in each of the rooms and most notably in the lobby, where you'll find an impressive digital screen.

The impeccably shiny aesthetic is matched with a can-do attitude from staff and dedicated guest services ranging from Bergdorf Goodman personal-shopping to an Apple Mac filled drawing room. When it comes to decor you can expect a subdued selection of taupe, grey and cream, offset with marble and white oak.

The attention to detail is exquisite with an emphasis on technology; the lights, blinds and temperature can all be controlled from your bedside and the personal attaché are always on hand to help you secure those hard-to-book tables. That being said, the hotel's Wayfarer Tavern is a must-visit for well executed American cuisine in sumptuous surroundings.

Best room: Make the most of those sweeping city views in the handsome Penthouse that spans the top three floors of the hotel.
