Cognac truffles or dark chocolate puddles? Enrobed ginger or caramelised hazelnuts? Dizzy praline or billionaire’s shortbread? Whatever your penchant, chocolatier and cocoa grower Hotel Chocolat has it all. Innovative and supremely creative, Hotel Chocolat is renowned for its focus on authentic yet sophisticated flavours dreamt up by its team of expert chocolatiers. Looking now to engage cocoa aficionados in the art of chocolate making, the chocolaterie has just launched a competition encouraging chocolate lovers all over the world to create their own Hotel Chocolat masterpiece. 

Whether you fancy whipping up a deliciously decadent dessert or a tempting summer libation, the only stipulation is that cocoa must feature in your list of carefully selected ingredients. Judged on a 3-month rolling basis by Hotel Chocolat Co-Founder and CEO Angus Thirlwell, winning creations will have the chance to appear in Hotel Chocolat’s tasting boxes or on the menu of one of their slick little café-restaurants. Winners will also be treated to a 6-month complimentary membership to the Tasting Club - a monthly subscription that sees a bespoke box of tasting chocolates delivered straight to your door.
